Michael has been serving the Rhode Island community for 30 years after forming Tarro Law Associates from his living room in 1994. His legal expertise is grounded in his keen sense of justice in handling personal injury cases, where he has settled millions of dollars in claims for his clients. He also has expertise in estate planning and estate administration, including probate and trust administration in addition to complex estate litigation.
Before law, Michael became a funeral director to continue his family business, A. Tarro & Sons Funeral Home, which opened its doors nearly 100 years ago. He also was a bank auditor and graduated valedictorian from Bryant University. Michael earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts.
He is the proud father of three children, Michael Jr., Kaitlyn, and Brandon. He also is a Patriots fan and enjoys spending his free time in the sun.
Representative Matters
Represented one plaintiff in a wrongful death lawsuit after a car auction took away a loved one, and assisted in recovering a total $6,000,000+ verdict against all defendants in favor of all plaintiffs.
Resolved over 25 worker's compensation case on behalf of a municipality.
Advised a group of plaintiffs in a party bus incident, recovering hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.
