What legal services does Tarro Law Associates provide?
We practice in three areas: business law, including formation, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, disputes, and Fractional General Counsel; wills, trusts, and estates, including estate planning, probate, and powers of attorney; and personal injury, including car and truck accidents, slip and falls, and wrongful death.
Which states does Tarro Law serve?
Rhode Island, Florida, and Massachusetts. Our main office is in Providence, Rhode Island, and we have an office in Tampa, Florida. Massachusetts matters are handled from Providence by attorneys licensed there.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. The initial consultation is free and carries no obligation to hire us. We listen to your situation, explain your options, and tell you honestly whether and how we can help.
How do your fees work?
It depends on the matter. Personal injury cases are handled on a contingency fee, so if there is no recovery, no attorney's fee is owed. Business and estate matters are quoted before work begins, and Fractional General Counsel is a set monthly plan. You will know the fee basis in writing before we start.
What is Fractional General Counsel?
It gives your business a dedicated attorney on a month-to-month plan for a set monthly fee, covering contracts, negotiations, governance, and compliance, without the cost of a full-time in-house lawyer.
When should I create an estate plan?
As soon as you own property, have children or dependents, or run a business, and again after any major life change such as marriage, divorce, a birth, or a move to another state. A plan names who inherits, who manages your affairs if you cannot, and who cares for minor children.
What should I do after a car accident?
Get medical attention, report the crash to police, photograph the scene and the vehicles, and avoid giving a recorded statement to the other driver's insurer before speaking with a lawyer. Then call us for a free review of your claim.
Do I need to come to your office?
No. Most matters can be handled by phone, video, and our secure client portal, including signing documents electronically. You are welcome to meet in person in Providence or Tampa if you prefer.
How quickly will someone respond?
Our phones are answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Online inquiries are reviewed promptly and we will reach out using the contact method you prefer.
